Karen Cornish, is a freelance writer and proofreader specializing in pets and parenting. She juggles work, sometimes successfully, with her three-year-old daughter, Martha. Karen and Martha enjoy visiting the Dinosaur Adventure Park and searching north Norfolk for the perfect afternoon tea. Karen also blogs at www.karencornish.co.uk
Elaine Everest is a freelance journalist, creative writing tutor and author of dog books. She writes on a variety of topics, but small business and start ups are a particular passion. She has owned various businesses including a wedding catering company, bespoke dog coats manufacturing and a chocolate fountain hire. She and a colleague run ‘The Write Place’ creative writing school at The Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford Kent.
Nan Sheppard worked as an artist and breastfeeding counsellor and taught parenting classes to teens in Trinidad and Tobago. She returned to the UK in 2009 with her three sons and decided upon a career change, combining her love of writing and her experiences as a parent and freelancer. Nan can mess up a Rubik’s Cube in seven seconds and makes an amazing end-of-the-month soup. She writes magazine articles and blogs at www.thingsivefoundinpockets.com.
