Job seekers are redefining their approach to employment, be it through COVID-19, family commitments or health requirements. People are even changing where they want to live and creating new expectations about flexibility, working conditions and life in general.
These thoughts and expectations can’t be undone. However, when individuals want to seek these new opportunities there are several barriers that a job seeker is forced to overcome.
WorkYourWay was founded from Rebecca Scott’s experience. When new parent, Rebecca, a senior buyer at a large fashion retailer, wanted to return to part-time work after her son started at nursey, she quickly discovered no recruitment platform truly met her needs. Rebecca wanted to work for 2.5-3 days per week, however endless job applications and interviews resulted in inefficiencies for both Rebecca and the businesses recruiting.
We aim to provide a platform that meets the needs of parents, carers, people with disabilities, older workers, people with health issues, and many other groups searching for flexible and part-time opportunities.

To ensure we truly deliver on these needs and provide candidates and companies with the best experience, we have guidelines about what we allow and don’t allow on the platform.
Part-time Roles: We service all types of part-time roles, whether it’s three full days, morning’s only or something more unique.
Flexible Roles: We allow roles that have more customisable hours, including roles that allow candidates to work anytime providing they fulfil their responsibilities.
Compressed Roles: We allow businesses to post roles that have compressed hours, allowing individuals to work a full-time role in four days.
Full-time Roles: We don’t allow roles that are the standard full-time roles with hours operating between 8-9am & 5-6pm, five days a week.
