From catering franchises to taxation and signage ones, this year’s HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards has it all.
The awards ceremony aims to showcase the very best of British franchising from the companies who build their franchise network best; supporting their staff and promoting strong brand awareness on the way.
For those considering franchise opportunities, the awards highlight those who are at the very top of their game in the UK right now.
A total of 14 franchisers have been nominated by the British Franchise Association (bfa) and will be judged across three specific categories, reports thefranchisemagazine.net.
The main awards category, the HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award, features a number of familiar names such as fast-food king McDonald’s Restaurants, driving agency Driver Hire and tax accountancy franchise TaxAssist.
In the Franchisee Support Award, telecommunications giant O2 gets a nod, while catering business Jasper’s Franchise and signage firm Country Signs also make the grade.
Finally, ventilation franchise EnviroVent and professional tools supplier MacTools are among the nominees in the Brand Builder of the Year category.
“What these businesses have in common is the implementation of innovative practises that are driving industry standards,” Cathryn Hayes, head of franchising at HSBC, remarked on franchiseworld.co.uk.
“The HSBC Franchisee Support Award recognises these outstanding franchisors for the strategic direction and support they offer their network of franchisees. Their stories are an inspiration to businesses of all sizes across the UK.”
